We took Joshua’s 5th Birthday portraits at the park. It was so fun watching him play, climb, explore, and stop for frequent dance breaks! I loved being able to capture his mischievous little smile and see his personality shine through play. You can tell he loves to play as evidenced by his scrape from his trampoline at home (but hey, cuts and scrapes are on all little boys at this age!). Happy 5th Birthday, Joshua!

What an honor it was to photograph this sweet family again! You may recognize Eva from her 1st Birthday session. I was able to document this adorable new addition to the Bell family, and what a little angel he was! He was awake for the whole session and barely cried (even with this Miami heat!). Amber is donnnee! At this point, she is already working within her degree as a forensic entomologist. I have known Amber for a few years, and she is the sweetest, most excited human being. I mean, just looking at her smile and you can probably tell that without me telling you.

This session was supposed to be for celebrating and documenting G’s 7th Birthday, buuuutttt I turned it into a Family Session! You could see her personality and sweet spirit come out best when she was interacting with her parents. They loved playing and bear hugs!

This sweet family’s Girl Gang is complete! Dad and Mom are ready to welcome their last baby girl into the family. She is already so loved! Aside from a gender reveal, we also snagged some family photos (because why not!).

We had Emily’s 1st Birthday Cake Smash session at my favorite photo spot - Matheson Hammock beach! She wasn’t too keen on the cake, but that’s normal for a one-year-old! She was the cutest little mermaid, and her Mama KILLED her smash set up! Seriously, the cutest theme ever, with the cutest babe ever.
We were also able to capture a generational photo representing FOUR generations! What a legacy for this sweet family.

Nothing makes me feel more honored than returning families asking me to capture their family as they grow. I met this family a few years ago when I photographed their younger son’s Fresh 48 (you can see that newborn goodness here!). Now they’ve added a darling girl to their crew, and she couldn’t be cuter if she tried!

I had the special opportunity to photograph Sophia and her family as they were getting ready for arguably the most important celebration in a Hispanic teen girl’s life - her quince! I got to capture her family as they primped and played, laughed and loved one another and it was so sweet. Capturing families like this is just so special; each family has their own dynamic that is fascinating and humbling to witness.

Nicole turned 15 last year at the height of COVID, so they waited to document this milestone birthday till things were safer. We had so much fun taking her portraits at the iconic Vizcaya Museum and Gardens!!
In true Miami fashion, it was oh so hot out, but she was gorgeoussss and stayed so graceful amidst the skyrocketing temps. Seriously, she was so regal; definitely princess model status! I kept squealing behind my mask in pure excitement! From her beautiful gowns to the beautiful architecture, this session was a dream! To top it off, she is just the sweetest girl. Alyssa is so grown up and mature, but it was very easy to get those giggles with a few well-timed tickles from Mom! Her sweet smile and graceful air were so beautiful to capture. When she twirled, she seemed both older and younger, and just so darling.

This sweet ray of sunshine is finally three, and I just can’t believe believe it! Alice has the most infectious giggles, and was an expert ballerina twirling for the camera. I just couldn’t get through editing her gallery without smiling! She loves to have her nails painted all sorts of colors, and absolutely loves pink! We made sure to get all her portraits done before it was time to splash her toes in the water!

It was such a fun day capturing sweet Harper turning one!! I saw Harper and her family a few months ago for family pictures, and she has changed so much since then! We took her birthday portraits at the beach, where she loved to play in the sand and splash around on the shore! I love that we also got a few more sister and family pictures; you can NEVER have too many of those.
Smiles were a little tricky to come by, even with my best tricks, until we got to the water; then, both girls couldn’t stop smiling! You have to roll with the punches, and do whatever it takes to bring out that joy!

Amelia’s Cake Smash was my last session of 2020! Even though I’ve know this family for many, many years, this was my first time meeting sweet Amelia! She wasn’t too keen on her cake (which is normal!), but big sister was! We still had fun capturing that sugary goodness, and capturing some sweet family photos before the icing mess! What a great way to end my 2020 sessions!

It was such an honor to meet them, and such a privilege to be able to photograph this huge milestone for them. They were the sweetest couple! I can only hope my husband and I look this good after 60 years together!
I loved talking with them and listening to their stories of college and living abroad. They made me miss my own grandparents (and reminded me so much of them!). They are seriously the sweetest couple. Their advice for being married 60 years? Communicate with and listen to one another! Enjoy their 60th anniversary portraits!
Caleb was introduced to legos at his last birthday, and since then it’s been a non-stop obsession! He’s become quite proficient at building all kinds of vehicles! Besides playing with legos, Caleb also loves playing with his little brother, and having family movie nights! I can’t believe Caleb’s already 5 years old - it went by so fast!!
We took his 5th birthday portraits at my favorite place - the beach, twice!! Caleb had a blast building sandcastles, playing in the water, and cheesing it up with his 5 balloon! These birthday sessions have such a special place in my heart, and I just can’t get enough of them, especially with the birthday balloon (hence, the double beach).
